PART D:
The experience I face with the different seminars, guests, and other bloggers has for sure made me grow as a writer. I really enjoyed hearing different works of my classmates, getting advice from past students, and learning about how different professional writers get their inspiration. I have learned a lot from all that I have experienced through creative writing and wish to continue to develop with what I have obtained.
I’m happy with the writer that my partner and I choose for her work has been recognized by many people; however, I would have liked to have done a musician/singer for music is a huge part of my life as a dancer. I do not regret talking about Cassandra Claire for she has wonderful works of writing, also I had no idea who else to have talked about. All the genres that have been discussed about throughout all the writers seminars have all been interesting to me; however, I would say that the ones that were more dark weren’t my favorite, but were still interesting. I learned that its okay to first start off by emulating other writers, because it helps you as a writer develop your individual voice.
