The inspiration that has helped me this month have all came from journal time and writers seminars during class time.
The first inspiration was used to help me with my short story about a skeleton party. I was given a quote to either emulate or to use as a bread crumb. The quote was “Sometimes I can hear my bones staining under the weight of all the lives I’m not living” by Jonathan Safran Foer. This quote made me first think of skeletons since it talked about bones.
The second inspiration that I used was again a quote that was given to my class during writing journal time. The quote was, “Any given moment in the middle of a city there’s million epiphanies occurring in the blurring of the world beyond the curtain”, from Let Them Eat Chaos by Kate Tempest. From this quote I first thought about something that affects many around the world; which, created my poem about global happiness.
