This quote sparked my thoughts about how people in this world have lost their hopes to accomplish their dreams and are suck in a cycle of boring reality. This inspired my idea towards my blog for the reason to bring back the child within everyone in the world and be able to dream once more. The following is a poem that I created from this quote.
Dreams.
Dreams provide a haven for reality.
Dreams are where our child-self lives.
Dreams can come true.
Living.
Living accompanies dreaming.
Living makes a path for our dreams.
Living and dreaming are reality.
Remember.
Remember to live.
Remember to dream.
Remember.
From the book I am reading, The Evolution of Calpurnia Tate, there was a section were the grandfather was talking to Calpurnia and says “and I suppose they teach you that the world is flat and that there are dragons gobbling up the ships that fall over the edge.” which I found really funny and I soon started to create a humorous story.
We were on a treacherous journey to the edge of the world to find mysterious creatures and new land. I am honored to report we… have … found… nothing. My crew and I have been travelling the ocean blue for days, or months, I can’t really tell.
