Summary:

This book is about a young girl in the late 1800 who discovers something between two different coloured grasshoppers, which sparks her interest about learning more about the laws of nature and the theory Charles Darwin had. Throughout the book she develops a better relationship with her grandfather who teaches her everything he knows about science and nature.

Comments:

My thoughts about this book from what I have read, is that it was a good read with lots of intriguing wording. I like how at the beginning of each chapter there was a quote or a quick saying that started off the chapter. This book only rates a 3/5 because it was an easy read and enjoyable to read when there is free time. Although it was wonderfully written, I was really hooked to the book.

Future Book Goals:

I wanna set a goal for myself to read about 10 pages a day and read at least two books a month. For the month of March I am going to read the book(s), The Happiness Project by Gretchen Rubin, and The Poems of Alfred Tennyson. The first book will be the main read for the month and the second one will just be a quick read.
